Established in 1919, Hartwell is now a leading automotive group and property holding company, which owns the site and previously ran the Smithfield Garage. In the last 100 years the company has grown geographically throughout the UK and diversified into property investment and development.

On this journey Hartwell has built up a substantial property portfolio where it holds the freehold interest as an investment. Their properties are leased to a wide range of organisations from start-ups up to large PLCs, with its own in-house facilities management team running the day-to-day operation of its sites and properties.
